Ctech takes building information modeling (BIM) and virtual design and construction (VDC) beyond geometric data and clash detection, putting it to work to generate collaboration, innovation and cost savings. Whether our role is design-build, design-assist or plan and spec, we see BIM/VDC as the critical link between design and execution.
Ctech also uses BIM for manufacturing and assembly of building components, including carrier groups, multi-trades racks, heat exchanger skids, pump skids and duct riser assemblies. By linking BIM data to Trimble positioning field software and equipment, we can position and verify the location of inserts and anchors in the building structure, locate equipment connections in plant rooms and prefabricate piping and ductwork.
